Bajaj Pulsar NS Spied In India Facebook

Heavily Camouflaged Bajaj Pulsar 160NS Spotted in India

We may see more Bajaj motorcycles riding into the country in the coming months. In fact, in an recent interview, Bajaj Auto MD, Rajiv Bajaj promised ‘Lots More Action’ in the above INR 1 lakh segment. But we might see a few products in the sub INR 1 lakh segment too and one of the upcoming models might be the Bajaj Pulsar 160NS.

The Bajaj Pulsar 160NS, which made its debut in Turkey in January 2017, was recently seen on Indian roads. A camouflaged test mule of the motorcycle was photographed on the old Mumbai-Pune highway. The test mule, unlike the 150NS, features a broader crankcase cover which hints that it is not a 150cc model. It is, however, quite skinnier than the 200NS. Thus, it would be safe to assume that this is the Pulsar 160NS.

The Pulsar NS160 gets a new, 160.3 cc, single cylinder; 4-valve DTS-I engine good for 15.5 PS of peak power at 8500 rpm and 14.6 Nm of maximum torque at 6500 rpm. The latest Naked Sport tips the scales at 135 kg (kerb weight). The Pulsar 160NS gets a 5-speed transmission, revised body decals, and an underbelly engine cowl.

The motorcycle, as aforementioned, is already sold in Turkey but it might be some time away from its India launch. The two-wheeler maker recently updated its entire product portfolio for BS-IV compliance. We’d keep you posted about any further updates about the motorcycle. Meanwhile, let us know your views through the comments section below.
