Ford India launched the iconic car in India in the fastback form, christened as the Mustang GT. At the heart of the muscle car is the 5.0 litre V8 engine that produces a maximum power output of 435 hp while the peak torque is rated at 542 Nm. This motor helps the Mustang sprint from 0-100 kmph in a mere 4.5 seconds all the way to a top speed of 250 kmph. This power is sent to the rear wheels via six speed SelectShift automatic transmission. The Mustang is  brought to India via the CBU route and is retailed only through select dealerships in Mumbai and New Delhi.
