Bajaj Auto has launched the Platina ComforTec in India. The ComforTec tag adds new features that now claim to make the Platina the most comfortable motorcycle in its class. The Bajaj Platina Comfortec comes with front and rear (double spring) suspension that’s 28% longer than the segment standard. Combined with the new ‘Spring Soft’ seat and rubber foot-pads, the Bajaj Platina Comfortec is now claimed to be 20% more resistant to jerks as compared to the segment leader that it was bench-marked against.

As for power, the Platina ComforTec continues to employ the 102 cc DTS-i, single-cylinder engine that is good for 8.2 PS (8.08 hp) at 7,500 rpm and 8.6 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 4-speed transmission. The Bajaj Platina Comfortec has an ARAI-certified fuel economy rating of 104 km/l,  and is available in three exterior colours: Red, Black and Blue. The economy commuter is available in two models: Platina 100 Alloy ES and Platina 100 Alloy KS; priced at INR 43,241 and INR 45,252 respectively (both prices ex-showroom Delhi).
