The large British cruiser was launched deeply redesigned in Milan, with a new tubular frame, revised long stroke 1.699 cc engine capable of 94 hp, better ergonomics and more comfortable seat. Triumph is US oriented more than ever.

NineT, which means Ninety, is a special bike created thanks to the collaboration with LA based design guru Roland Sands. Maybe the most beautiful one in this year’s Milan Motorshow. NineT celebrates the 90 years of BMW Motorrad and recalls in a futuristic translation the design elements of the first Boxer BMW, the R32. Technically, R NineT uses the previous air/oil cooled 1200 boxer engine with 110 hp on a modular frame with a rear subframe that can be deducted from few screws. Suspension scheme is weird: Paralever is used on the back but a conventional upside down fork was preferred on the front. At 15.500 euros in Europe, this is a bike any purist would dream!

  1. Excellent pictures. I think I needed four sets of eyes to watch it in full detail if you know what I mean.. But all in excellent, good to see BS and Honda SP, and Carerham. Thumbs up!
