The ultimate Monster in the 20 years history of the model, was launched with two versions of the Testastretta 11 engine, with 135 hp and 145 for the S. The style changed a bit but with full respect to the model’s heritage.
Ducati 1199 Superleggera
Europe in crisis? What crisis? Ducati chose to built now the 1199 Superleggera (means super light), which is not only the bike top of its range but maybe the most advanced motorcycle ever built by any manufacturer – Ducati Desmosedici included. Extended use of magnesium (the monocoque frame), carbon (subframe) and titanium (conrods and valves) make this a real racing machine with an equivalent price of 66.000 euros in Italy. Only 500 will be built and already 75% of the production is pre ordered.
