Suzuki V-Strom 1000
Inspired by the single cylinder DR Big, that participated in rally Dakar in ’88, the new V-Strom is a totally different animal. With a brand new 1037 cc V2 engine capable of “only” 100 hp @ 8.000 rpm, the V-Strom 1000 is one of the lightest Superenduro competing mostly with Ducati Multistrada and KTM 1199 Adventure despite its limited – on purpose – output. ABS and Traction Control are standard.
MV Agusta Turismo Veloce
The Castiglioni family know well that after they rebuilt a legendary brand – equivalent to Ferrari in 2 wheels – they had to use it properly to make some serious money, aiming to an annual production increased by 33% in 2014, reaching 10.000 motorcycles. Turismo Veloce 800 is a major step in this direction, considering that the brand goes well in Europe and still to explore the American market. An all around motorcycle with the specs of an F3 and the beauty of a Rivale has definitely a wow effect!
So, that was it. Hope you enjoyed the virtual tour of the EICMA 2013. We have a complete gallery on the next page, in case you would wish to re-ogle at the beauties (yes, we’re talking about the bikes)!
