To be offered in six variants, the Venue will come with a choice of three engines, an 81 hp 1.2-litre petrol, a 120 hp 1-litre turbocharged petrol and a 90 hp 1.4-litre diesel mill. While all these engines will be offered with a manual gearbox as standard, the peppy 1-litre turbocharged petrol will come with an option of a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. This would make the Venue the only car in its segment to currently offer one. Expected to be priced between INR 8-12 Lakh, the Venue will be competing against the likes of the Tata Nexon, Ford Ecosport, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and the newly launched Mahindra XUV300 when launched later this month.
