Hyundai Venue To Be Offered In Six Variants & Ten Paint Schemes

With bookings of the latest compact SUV from Hyundai now open, many people are already putting their money down to get the brand new Venue. However, as of now, we have just talked about the engines and features on offer with the car, not about the variants it will be sold in. Below is a detailed explanation of all the trim levels on offer with the car, and the engine options available in the following trim levels. Hyundai will offer a total of four drivetrain options with the Venue, they are:

  • 1.2-litre petrol | 81 hp/114 Nm | 5-speed manual
  • 1-litre petrol | 120 hp/172 Nm | 6-speed manual
  • 1-litre petrol | 120 hp/172 Nm | 7-speed automatic
  • 1.4-litre Diesel | 90 hp 220 Nm | 6-speed manual

Hyundai Venue Front

A total of 6 variants are on offer with the Venue. The range starts with the entry-level E trim, which is followed by S, SX, SX(O), and SX+. As a bonus, the SX trim level will also be offered in a dual tone paint scheme, making it the sixth variant of the car. Read ahead to know which variant gets which drivetrain option on offer.

E Variant

SX+ Variant

  • 1-litre petrol auto

As you can see, the automatic gearbox, which uses a dual clutch transmission, is only available in the S and SX+ variants. Customers who want the top of the line SX+ variant do not get the option of a manual transmission. The oil burning motor is made available in all variant except the top end SX+. The 1.2-litre petrol motor is only offered in the base variants – E and S. The 1-litre petrol with the manual gearbox is also available in all variants except the base E variant and top end SX+ variant.

A total of 10 colour shades will be on offer with the Venue. This includes 7 regular shades and additional 3 dual tone paint schemes. Listed below are all the colours on offer.

  • Lava Orange
  • Denim Blue
  • Denim Blue + Polar White roof (Dual Tone)

Expected to be priced between INR 8 Lakh to INR 12 Lakh, the Venue will be competing with the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon Ford Ecosport and the latest Mahindra XUV 300.
