The new 2018 Honda CBR150R has landed in Indonesia and, similar to the 2017 iteration, the motorcycle continues to feature an all-LED headlight and aggressive styling. So what’s new for 2018? The new 2018 Honda CBR150R features two new colour options — Matte Black and Victory Black Red.

Apart from the visual upgrade, the 2018 Honda CBR150R continues to use the all-LED headlight, a fully digital instrument console, clip-on handlebar, split seat, conventional telescopic front forks, monoshock with Pro-Link System at the rear, dual tone exhaust canister with brushed aluminium tip, and retains the muscular styling.

There are no upgrades to the engine either and the 2018 Honda CBR150R continues to use the 150cc single cylinder, liquid cooled, DOHC, fuel injected motor that is tuned to deliver 17.1 PS of power @ 9000 rpm and 14.4 Nm of peak torque @ 7000 revs. The engine comes mated to a six-speed transmission.

What about the India launch of the Honda CBR150R?

With the new 2018 Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 inching closer to the Indian market, Honda would not want to stay behind in the race in the 150cc segment. We’re yet to hear any official details about the new Honda CBR150R reaching the Indian shores but we hope to hear some new at the upcoming Auto Expo 2018.
