One of Asia’s biggest biennial auto event, the Auto Expo will go underway from 9-14 of February 2018. Auto Expo 2018 will be organized at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. This will be the 14th edition of the motor show, and the 2018 Auto Expo will last a day longer than usual. The event attracts a large number of visitors with the 2016 numbers being in excess of 6 lakh. The 2018 Auto Expo is expected to see an even stronger visitor count.
The 2018 Auto Expo will be spread across 1,85,000 square meters, with 14 indoor exhibition halls and special zones for visitors. These special zones will include Smart Mobility Zone, Innovation Zone, Competition Zone and Destination Zone. The theme for the 2018 Auto Expo is ‘Automotive Technologies that Drive the World' so a great amount of focus will be on the modern technologies which increasingly dictate the automotive universe.
In addition to the Auto Show, there will also be a separate 2018 Component Show which will be held at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. This event will be spread across 60,000 square meters and will witness participation from over 1,2000 big and small component making companies.

The 2018 Auto Expo cars line-up will witness a whole barrage of existing and new carmakers showcasing their products. In addition to showcasing their current and upcoming car models, expect manufacturers to exhibit some really interesting concept vehicles as well as technologies. From India's perspective, popular car makers like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai Motor India, Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors, Honda Cars India Limited, Toyota Kirloskar and Jeep will create the most amount of excitement. Among premium carmakers, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar Land Rover and BMW will attract the most number of visitors, as Audi is not participating in this year's Expo. Other absentees include Volkswagen Group companies including Volkswagen itself and Skoda. Ford and Fiat are also not participating in the 2018 Auto Expo. The Auto Expo 2018 will also have a special focus on electrical cars.
