Toyota Kirloskar Motors (TKM) recently announced that the company had sold more than 75,000 units of the Innova Crysta less than a year since its launch back in May 2016. Now, the Indian arm of the Japanese automobile manufacturer plans to launch a special edition of its popular MPV.
After making its debut in the Indonesian market in January this year, the Toyota Innova Crysta Venturer will come to India as the Innova Crysta Touring Sport. Spied completely uncamouflaged in India last month, the special edition of the Innova Crysta has now begun arriving at local dealerships across the country ahead of its impending launch.

While the previous spy images revealed the Innova Crysta in a shade of wine red, new spy images also reveal a unit of the model in a shade of white. Highlights of the Innova Crysta Touring Sport over the standard model include body cladding with subtle chrome inserts across the body.
Also on offer are a few other chrome additions such as a thick chrome strip covering the length of the tail-gate, Chrome garnish on the fog lamps, reflector housing, front splitter, air dam, side sills and ORVM caps. The alloy wheels now come finished in a shade of gloss black while the posterior features the ‘Touring Sport’ badging.

There are likely to be no changes to the interior as the model, based on the top-end Z trim, will come equipped with all the bells and whistles. The model will be exclusively available in the six-seater configuration. There will be no changes to the engine configurations and hence the model will be available with the same 2.8-litre diesel engine and 2.7-litre petrol engine. Stay tuned for more details and prices.
