Images shared on a social media website reveal a unique version of the Tata Nexon, dubbed as the Nexon IPL edition. The compact SUV features one-off visual modifications in the form of vinyl decals and a roof wrap as a tribute to the Mumbai Indians IPL T20 team.
In connection with the Mumbai Indian’s theme of Blue and Yellow, the Tata Nexon seen in the images here receives subtle tweaks in the form of a matte blue finish for the roof wrap, rear bumper, wheel arches and humanity line across the body of the compact SUV. Similarly, the yellow wrap has been applied to the front bumper, fog lamp housings, ORVMs and a single spoke on each of the alloy wheels.

Based on the top-end XZ+ variant, this modified Tata Nexon comes equipped with projector headlamps, LED DRLs, fog lamps, LED tail lights, 16 inch alloy wheels, 6.5 inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Bluetooth, climate control, three drive modes (Eco, City and Sport), push button start, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs and height adjustable driver seat. Safety features such as ABS with EBD and dual airbags are standard across the variant line-up while the XZ+ variant additionally receives rear view camera with sensors, speed sensing door lock, rear wiper and defogger.
Engine specifications remain unchanged and hence the Tata Nexon is available with a 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine and an all new 1.5-litre Revotorq diesel engine. The petrol motor is capable of producing 110 PS and 170 Nm of torque while the diesel motor produces 110 PS of power and 260 Nm of torque. Transmission options currently include a six speed manual transmission as standard while an AMT variant will be launched soon.
