A Modified Royal Enfield Thunderbird Bobber [Images & Details]

Only few hours back, we brought to you images of a modified Bajaj Avenger Bobber, along with the building experience from its creator. (CLICK HERE for this story). Now, our friend Parzeed Jal Baldawala has shared with us images and details of a modified Royal Enfield Thunderbird bobber from Sachin Pednekar of Royal Cusrtoms Motorcycles.

Talking about his creation, Sachin has said,” I always felt that a perfect cruiser/bobber can be made on Enfield’s.The Thunder Bird from RE was an attempt to make a classic street bike look like a bobber but there are certain aspects such as long wheel base and low seating position what makes a bobber different from regular motorcycles.

Here is his building experience — “I built this Bobber from Royal Enfield’s 2002 Thunder Bird frame and engine. Increased the wheel base by 7 inches and also the angle of front suspension forks and fabricated rear swing arm to occupy 150 section rear tyre. The tank is also nicely fabricated. Dreamt with closed eyes, worked hard with open eyes and made it to REALITY. Thats how ideas were blended and THUNDER-BOB was born.”

We feel that Sachin has done a neat job with transforming a Thunderbird into a deliciously styled bobber. What do you think? Do you like Sachin’s work? If yes, do pour in your words of encouragement for him. We sure need more bike stylists like him, who have a passion for giving an altogether new look to rather ordinary looking bikes.
