Automobili Lamborghini recently launched the Huracan Performante in India, with prices starting at INR 3.97 crore (ex-showroom). In the past few months, Lamborghini has also launched a few other models such as the Aventador S and the Huracan RWD Spyder.
Regulars at Motoroids would also remember the launch of the limited edition Lamborghini Huracan Avio which took place back in September 2016. Now, about six months post its launch, the first customer Huracan Avio has arrived in the country and has made its way home to Kolkata.
Finished in a shade of Verde Turbine with orange accents running across various parts of the body, this Huracan Avio is one of only 250 units that would be produced worldwide. A tribute to the Italian Air Force, the Huracan Avio features visual updates including five new exterior colour options, contrast coloured off-set race strips, front splitter, wing mirrors and side sills. Also on offer is the ‘L63’ decal that denotes the year of inception of the Italian marquee.
Inside, the Lamborghini Huracan Avio will come equipped with Alcantara leather and embroidered ‘L63’ logos on the seats. Propelling the Huracan Avio will be the same 5.2-litre V10 petrol motor that produces 610 PS and 560 Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via the seven speed dual clutch transmission. Speeds of 0-100 kmph can be attained by the Huracan Avio in 3.2 seconds, all the way up to a top speed of 325 kmph. The Lamborghini Huracan Avio was launched in India with a price tag of INR 3.71 crore (ex-showroom).
