Now, it has emerged that the next scooter launch from Yamaha Motor India would be that of the Ray 125cc variant! Yamaha Ray 125 launch in India could happen around September and the upcoming model would be the flagship scooter in Yamaha’s product portfolio.

Powering the Ray 125 could be a bored out version of the existing 113cc engine and while the bigger motor would endow the bike with some extra power, the fuel consumption would be only marginally lower. We won’t be surprised to see the Ray 125 getting a front disc brake and the upcoming scooter would lock horns with the Activa 125, the Vespa VX and the likes. Visually, the Ray 125 is expected to look a lot like the current model, with only the decals and other minor bits getting updated.

Stay tuned to Motoroids for more updates on the Yamaha Ray 125 Launch.
