We reported in detail when it emerged that Yamaha India plans to concentrate on the Indian scooter segment for a few years. This announcement from the Indian subsidiary of Japanese two wheeler maker came soon after it launched the ‘female specific’ Ray automatic scooter in our rapidly growing scooter market.

While speculations have been plenty about the upcoming Yamaha scooter line up, we finally have some concrete details about the next scooter launch from Yamaha.

It is being said that the next Yamaha scooter will have a macho appearance, boast of high performance and have good road manners. The scooter will come equipped with class leading features such as a tachometer, powerful headlamp, telescopic front shcok absorbers and front disc brake.

Powering the scooter will be a 125cc, 4 stroke (what did you think?), single cylinder, air cooled motor with around 11 horses and good fuel efficiency.

125cc scooters from Piaggio, Bajaj Blade 125 and Yamaha 125cc scooter. Which one of there are you really waiting for?
