Now, it has emerged that along with the nre Adventure Edition, the car maker has also launched the Renault Duster RXL Plus variant. It may be noted that the sales performance of the Renault Duster has been a tad dismal ever since the advent of Ford EcoSport and the launch of the two new variants seem to be an attempt to revive the sales of Duster compact SUV in our car market. The new RxL Plus variant is based on the 85PS diesel model and goes on sale for a price of INR 10.60 lakhs.
The new Renault Duster RXL Plus variant comes loaded with features such as- dual front airbags, ABS, and EBD with brake assist, all of which means that the new variant scores high on safety features. The RxL variant is also being offered with an optional package that brings along features such as driver seat belt reminder and parking sensors. Of course, these features cost extra and add some 58,000 rupees to the price of the RxL Plus variant.
Mechanically though, there is no difference between the RxL and the RxL Plus variant, which means that powering the car is the same tried and tested, 1.5 litre, K9K, turbo diesel motor that powers a variety of models from Renault and Nissan. For the Renault Duster RxL Plus variant, this engine has a max power of 85PS and peak torque of 200Nm.
