Volvo India today announced the launch of the new V90 Cross Country, with prices starting at INR 60 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The company also chose the occasion to launch a new dealership, Scandia Motorcars in Delhi. This marks the fourth facility in the NCR region and the 18th such facility in the country.
Powering the all new V90 Cross Country is a twin-turbo engine that delivers 235 hp and 480 Nm torque coupled with an 8-Speed automatic transmission and paddle shifts. The company also offer four types of drive modes — Eco, Comfort, Dynamic and Off-Road. The V90 Cross Country stands tall with 210 mm unladen ground clearance while also offering the Haldex AWD system, Hill Descent Control, off-road driving mode and air-suspension at the rear.

Volvo Auto India has also equipped the V90 Cross Country with several active safety features as standard which include adaptive cruise control, lane keeping-aid, blind-spot detection with cross traffic alert, rear collision warning, park pilot assist and collision warning with full auto-braking for pedestrians, cyclists, other vehicles and large animals. Apart from the radar-based safety the car is equipped with a seat-belt pre-tensioners, run off-road protection system, side Impact protection and whiplash protection.
A few other highlights of the Volvo V90 Cross Country include a 19 speaker Bowers & Wilkins Surround Sound System, panoramic sunroof, four zone climate control, rain sensor, Nappa leather upholstery, front seat with ventilation and massage function, 12.3 inch touchscreen infotainment system, heads-up display, diamond cut alloy wheels and hands-free power tail gate opening and closing.
The V90 Cross Country comes in seven colors including Crystal White Metallic, Bright Silver Metallic, Magic Blue Metallic, Osmium Grey Metallic, Onyx Black Metallic, Havana Maple Brown Metallic and Magic Blue Metallic. The model will be available for deliveries across dealerships in India with immediate effect.
