TVS Motors has decided to launch their well-known and most fuel-efficient Scooter with the all-new first in segment feature the connected tech technology. This feature is available with the Jupiter ZX variant and TVS has named this feature a ‘SMARTXONNECT’. This feature is introduced to keep up with its rivals in this segment, which mainly includes the Honda Activa. Now, let us have a look at the TVS Jupiter’s SMARTXONNECT.
TVS Jupiter SMARTXONNECT and other changes
The SMARTXONNECT Technology includes many connective and useful features such as fully digital console, Voice Assist, Navigation Assist, SMS/Call alerts, etc. We can connect the Voice Assist or active through Bluetooth connectivity technology. We can activate the Voice Commands through the TVS SMARTXONNECT application, though the app you can also connect Bluetooth headphones, wired headphones, or a helmet that has Bluetooth equipped. They have also introduced a new comfort feature which is the backrest for the pillion. Moreover, the TVS Jupiter now comes with Silver Oak-colored inner panels. TVS has now offered a new Dual Tone seat with a new design pattern.

TVS Jupiter ‘IntelliGo’ Technology
The new tech enhances riding comfort, mileage and reduces emissions by intelligently switching off the engine during long idling like traffic signals and other transient stops. The vehicle is ready to go by a simple throttle rev which enhances convenience. During these stops, the technology helps reduce emissions. TVS IntelliGo technology will debut on TVS Jupiter, thus making it the first 110cc scooter in the industry to come with this technology.
The TVS Jupiter is equipped with Ecothrust Fuel injection (ET-Fi) technology which delivers 15% better mileage, better start ability, refinement, and durability, compared to the older version.

TVS Jupiter ‘i-TouchStart’ Silent Ignition
The technology provides a silent and instant start minus the cranking noise, making it ideal for repeated starts in stop-go traffic. ‘i-Touchstart’* also improves battery life and provides a maintenance-free system. The TVS Jupiter ZX now also comes with an all-in-one lock to operate the ignition, steering lock, seat lock, and fuel tank cap with a single keyhole. This enables the rider to access all functions with ease. Along with technology and convenience, the TVS Jupiter ZX also offers a Disc brake for rider safety. This launch is in line with TVS Motor Company’s continuous endeavour to provide best-in-class features which cater to the evolving need of Indian customers.
