The Manza CS is based on the Vista platform and the upcoming compact sedan, which has been codenamed as Falcon 5, is expected to be launched sometime after the Vista refresh aka Falcon 4 is launched.
Much like the upcoming Tata Vista facelift aka Falcon 4, the Tata Manza CS aka Falcon 5 would sport several cues from Tata Motors’ new design language. This design language made its public debut on the Manza Hybrid at the Auto Expo 2012.
As the latest spy pics reveal, while the front end will sport the same headlamps that can be seen on the Vista, it would feature a completely new grille and Outside Rear View Mirrors. Also, the car would sport many all-new body panels.
As is pretty obvious, the upcoming Tata Manza Compact Sedan aka Falcon 5 would measure less than 4 meters in length and would benefit from excise duty relaxations being offered by the Govt of India. It may be noted that the Indigo CS, which boasts of new crop of Tata engines, offers acres of rear legroom and is on sale at a really attractive price tag, has done pretty well on the sales charts and is quite popular among taxi owners and fleet operators. There are good chances that the Manza Compact Sedan would benefit from similar qualities.
The Tata Manza Compact Sedan is highly likely to share its engine options with the refreshed Vista. This means that the upcoming car will get the Fiat sourced 1.3 liter Multijet turbo diesel engine and the upcoming 1.2 litre turbo petrol motor.
