  • Tata Manza compact sedan codenamed as Falcon 5
  • Falcon 5 will be to Manza and Vista what Indigo eCS is to Indigo and Indica respectively

As we have been saying, Tata Motors is working on a compact sedan based on the Vista platform. This upcoming compact sedan, which has been codenamed as Falcon 5, will be launched sometime after the advent of the Vista refresh aka Falcon 4.

The 2015 Tata Manza CS test mules would commence road testing in next few days and here, we have a speculative rendering of the 2015 Tata Manza CS, which comes from the good folks at Cartoq.

Akin to the upcoming Tata Vista refresh, the Manza CS would sport Tata Motors’ new design language, which we saw on the Manza Hybrid at the Auto Expo 2012.

It is being said that the Tata Manza Compact Sedan would sport smoked headlamps, sporty bumpers and a new grille, which would stretch between the headlights. At the rear end, the car will sport a set of stylish taillamps.

Quite obviously, the upcoming Tata Manza Compact Sedan would measure less than 4 meters in length and would benefit from excise duty concessions being offered by the Government of India.  It may be noted that the Indigo CS, which boasts of new crop of Tata engines, offers acres of rear legroom and is on sale at a really attractive price tag, has done pretty well on the sales charts and is quite popular among taxi owners and fleet operators. There are good chances that the Manza Compact Sedan would benefit from similar qualities.

The Tata Manza Compact Sedan will share its engine options with the refreshed Vista. Which would mean that the upcoming car will get the Fiat sourced 1.3 liter Multijet turbo diesel engine and the upcoming 1.2 litre turbo petrol motor.

Stay tuned to Motoroids for more updates on the Tata Manza Compact Sedan.
