Isuzu Motors India Private Limited will soon hold the Bhoomi Puja (Ground Breaking Ceremony) of Isuzu motors India plant at ITC Kakatiya, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh.

Isuzu Motors Limited is among leading manufacturers of commercial vehicles, pickups, sports utility vehicles and diesel engines. Isuzu Motors India announced plans of setting up a manufacturing plant in Andhra Pradesh, India with an investment of Rs. 3000 Crore over five to seven years. The plant is expected to have a capacity of 1.2 lakh units per annum.

Isuzu Motors India is organizing the Ground Breaking Ceremony on January 27, 2014.

Present on the occasion, for the first time in India, would be Mr. Susumu Hosoi, President and Representative Director, Isuzu Motors Ltd, Japan. Also sharing details on the upcoming facility along with the future plans of Isuzu Motors India would be Mr. Takashi Kikuchi, President & Managing Director, Isuzu Motors India and Mr. Shigeru Wakabayashi, Deputy Managing Director, Isuzu Motors.

The ceremony would talk place in the presence of Shri. Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and Dr. (Smt.) J. Geeta Reddy, Hon’ble Minister for Major Industries, Sugar, commerce and Export Promotion, Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Isuzu Motors India has commenced its Indian innings with the launch of two products- Isuzu MU7 SUV (seen in the lead image) and the D-Max pick up truck.
