While the recently unveiled Mercedes MLC is hogging all the limelight in the world of SUVs, the Stuttgart based premium car maker Mercedes is not the one to sit on its laurels and has already started working on the 2015 Mercedes M Class facelift. We’ve already seen images of the 2015 Mercedes M Class facelift test mules and now, Remco Meulendijk has come up with a couple of speculative renderings of the upcoming M Class facelift.
For this rendering, the artist has looked up at new model such as the GLA Class for design cues. As per this artistic images we have here, the upcoming M Class facelift will feature a new front bumper, revised grille and headlights similar in design to the ones on the new gen S Class. We also see that the upcoming model sports restyled outside rear view mirrors and a slightly updated rear end.
Mercedes hasn’t yet revealed many details of this upcoming model but it is highly likely that the new model will be revealed later this year with a new twin turbocharged 3.0 litre V6 motor that has a max power of around 330 bhp (246 kW) and peak torque of 350 lb-ft (474 Nm).
