Open for enthusiasts on Dec 11 2014, the Autocar Performance Show 2014 concluded yesterday on December 14th with eye candy written all over the venue. We take you through a pictorial journey that we managed to capture on the very first day itself- luckily with the weekend crowd at bay.
So here you go:
The gorgeous Lamborghini Huracan draped in red shod with even more gorgeous alloy wheels.
The Bentley Contintal GT V8 in a striking yellow shade
The Bentley Flying Spur V8 boasting one of the best interiors you can find in a luxury car
The Jaguar XJL, the snorty F-Type and the new Range Rover Sport adorned the Tata JLR stand.
Mercs on a mission: The SLK 55 AMG and the CLA 45 AMG
The Audi Trio: The Q3, R8 Spyder and the A4 Sport
Bimmer blast: The 6 Series Gran Coupe, the GT, the new M4, the Q3 and the Q5
Not to forget the two Minis
The start of the show at Hyundai’s stall was the Genesis with the Elite i20, Grand i10 and the Xcent as the support cast.
The Maruti stall with the Swift, Ciaz and the Alto K10
The Fiat 500 Abarth was the centre of attraction at the Fiat Stall flanked by Punto, Avventura and the Linea
The Terrano and the Micra at the Nissan stall
Toyota displayed the Etios Sedan and Cross and the new Corolla
The hot selling Ecosport with the new Fiesta at the Ford stall. Ford was demonstrating their simulator suits at the exhibition giving an insight to the visitors on the design engineering of their vehicles (read about it here)
The star of the entire Performance show weren’t to be the Lambos or the Ferraris, but this 230 bhp Super Nano. (Read about all the details and performance figures here). The Renault powered Ind 2.0 also attracted visitors.

The SLS AMG, chromed Gallardo, Aventador in a striking shade, the Godzilla aka Nissan GTR and the Corvette C3 put up for display
Rage Motorsport put up its buggy on display
Kids treat- the Batmobile
The ETA project car by the students from the K J Somaiya College of Engineering, Mumbai
M/s. Car Capsule had an interesting car cover on display
Mahindra offered offroad joy rides (paid) to the visitors of the show

BMW Motorrad with the S1000R, the NineT Roadster and the alienish K1300R
A custom 750 alongwith a regular 750 and the Chubby Fatboy added their bits to the Harley Davidson stand
RG customs put up an interesting display of motorcycles specially the twin rear wheel- Flying Angel
The Transfigure Custom House put up its custom bikes on display
