Triumph Motorcycles have announced that they would be launching a Trike based on the mighty Rocket III in 2013. With a reasonable sized marked for customized trikes in the US, Triumph doesn’t want to let go the opportunity and considering an end-user would always prefer a factory fabricated unit than an aftermarket. The images you see are customized variants of the Rocket done by Rewaco Trikes.
Triumph plans to manufacture them in Brazil and export to the US markets. The 3 wheeled version of the torque monster should be expected this year. 2013 has witnessed a spate of launches from the British motorcycle manufacture in the lineup that includes the new Tiger 1050 Sport, Rocket III Roadster, Rocket III Touring with the best part being a 250cc twin announced for the Asian markets due in 2014.
Looks like Triumph wants to make 2013 a Triumph’ant year for itself!
