The Suzuki GSX-R1000R and the GSX1300R Hayabusa have just received a price cut following the import duty cut on CBU motorcycles. The new GSX-R1000R has received a price cut of INR 2.2 lakh and the motorcycle has now been priced at INR 19.8 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The iconic Hayabusa, which was launched in India at INR 13.87 lakh, has received a INR 28,000 price cut and the motorcycle is now available at INR 13.59 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The 6th-generation GSX-R1000R gets a all-new, 999.8cc in-line four cylinder, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine, which is the most powerful, hardest accelerating, cleanest running GSX-R engine ever built. It has been tuned to deliver 202ps of power @13,200 rpm and 117.6Nm of peak torque @10,800 rpm.
The legendary Suzuki Hayabusa uses a 1340cc in-line four-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that produces peak power output of 197 bhp @ 9,500 rpm while the peak torque is rated at 155 Nm @ 7,200 rpm.
