Bajaj CTB India Launch

New Bajaj CT100B launched in India at Rs 30,990

Bajaj CT100B - India Launch

The new Bajaj CT100B that was spotted at the dealership last month has been officially launched at an attractive price tag of Rs 30,990 ex-showroom New Delhi. The motorcycle gets the most basic equipment such as spoke-wheels instead of alloys on standard CT100, a round headlamp sans the bikini-fairing and a black painted steel pillion grab bar with attached carrier to name a few. The space of the rear panel has been occupied by the seat. A triangular shaped tail light with round edges too is quite different than the standard CT100.

The new CT100B will draw power from the the same 99 cc engine that is found on the CT100. The engine churns out 8.2PS of power and has been updated to deliver enhanced fuel efficiency. Bajaj claims that the new CT100B would deliver a fuel economy of 99.1 kmpl. The motorcycle will come with a two-year warranty.

Speaking about the new launch, Eric Vas, President – Motorcycles business, Bajaj said that with the CT100B customers can enjoy the pleasure of owning a new bike rather than compromise by searching for a second hand bike. He further added that the CT100 is one of the most successful entry level 100cc bikes in India, selling over 5 lakh bikes in the 12 months since its launch last February.

At Rs 30,990, the CT100B is an interesting product and we are sure it would find quite some buyers at that price point, especially in the Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. Share your views about the new Bajaj CT100B through the comments section below.
