The S80 sedan is the oldest model in the Swedish car maker’s product portfolio for India and the the facelift for the S80 brings the design of the highly capable sedan in line with the fresh crop of Volvo cars. The facelift successfully infuses some freshness with the car and should enable it to soldier on for a couple of years more, before the all new next generation S80 comes to us in 2016.
Currently, for the S80, Volvo has put to use its ex-partner Ford’s architecture and engines.
Visual updates for the S80 include new front and rear bumpers, Daytime Running Lights, wider grille and rounded taillamps. The Volvo S80 facelift alos gets a longer features list, that now comes with “Sensus Connected Touch” infotainment system with a 7-inch display, Active High Beam Control, a heated windscreen, and a heated steering wheel. Also, other than all this, the interiors of the soon to be launched Volvo S80 facelift will come with all new upholstery and trim options.
