The Mahindra XUV500 Sportz Limited Edition Model will go on sale soon. The edition comes with some visual enhancements to make it all the more appealing to SUV buyers in India.
The Mahindra XUV500 Sportz will get cosmetic extras such as special decals and red colored accents around the fog lamps, on the door handles, the alloy wheels and even the roof rails. The Sportz Edition also features special badging and emblems all around the body. The interiors aren’t altered much, the only change being a new design for the leather seats.
The Mahindra XUV500 Sportz will be based on the top-end W8 variant which comes loaded to the brim with standard equipment such as a six-inch infotainment display with GPS, automatic wipers and headlamps, front, side and curtain airbags, automatic climate control and electrically operated outer rear view mirrors. Over and above these bells and whistles, the Sportz edition adds a rear-view camera to the list of features.
Upon its launch, Mahindra is expected to price the XUV500 Sportz variant at a premium of INR 50,000- 70,000 over the standard W8 variant. Mahindra will also be equipping the XUV500 with an automatic gearbox. The automatic XUV500 will churn out 170 bhp of max power compared to the 140 bhp produced by the manual.
