Taking things to the next level, Lamborghini has just unveiled the new Urus Performante at the Quail, AMotorsports Gathering. This new extreme version of the Urus recently reached the milestone of fastest production SUV to climb to the Pikes Peak summit (10:32.064) and broke the previous record of the Bentley Bentayga (10:49.902) set in 2018.

The Urus Performante is sportier than ever, and this SUV is designed to dial things up a notch wherever you take it. Housing the 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbocharged engine, the new Urus Performante delivers 656 horsepower and 850 nm of torque. The power is up by 16 hp over the standard model. It can run from 0-100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, which is 0.3 seconds faster than the base Urus. While with the improved braking, it can go from 100-0 in 32.9 m. With a weight reduction of 47 kgs, this Urus offers a best-in-class power-to-weight ratio of 3.2.
With the launch of Urus Performante, Lamborghini also displayed open-top Huracán EVO RWD Spyder, the race inspired Huracán STO and the new Huracán Tecnica at the Quil. The supercar company has been around for 60 years and celebrating the legacy of 60 years of speed and performance, Lamborghini revealed the company’s new logo to celebrate the 60th anniversary. The official celebration will occur throughout 2023 with the last gathering at Sant’Agata Bolognese in May where this long journey of Lamborghini began. The new logo carries on the fighting bull heritage and Lamborghini’s DNA. Lamborghini created the first super SUV in history with a selection of LM 002, it was unveiled at the Geneva Auto Show 40 years ago. Paying a Tribute Urus has been a New era of super SUVs and continues to represent the trajectory of the brand.
