Kia has gained much popularity in a short period of time in the Indian Market. After the success of the Kia Seltos X Line, the automaker is back again with the all-new Kia Sonet X Line. Kia motors have recently shared a teaser of the X Line variant of its segment B SUV Sonet.

This X-line variant of Kia Sonet is expected to be packed with additional features and few cosmic changes. The X Line variant will be placed above the current top-spec variant Sonet GTX. Similarly, Seltos X Line was also placed above its top-of-the-line variant. The Seltos X Line variant had many cosmic changes making it more stylish and edgy and we can expect the same with the Sonet X Line variant. The Kia X Line is similar to the N Line of Hyundai.
As per the teaser, Sonet X Line will come with a Matte Graphite colour. In contrast, the matte exterior Kia has given a glossy black finish to the ORVMs. Other design elements include Faux skid plates with a Piano black finish. Another change in the exterior can be seen in Classy black chrome which has replaced the Bling chrome of the current Sonet line-up. Just like Seltos X Line, Red elements on the Bumper, wheels, Grille, and other places are also expected. The interior of the Sonet X Line will feature the same technology as the current top-spec variant GTX PLus. Although the interior is expected to get a similar smokey dark appearance as the Seltos X Line. The interior is also expected to come with Leather seats.
The Powertrain of Sonet X Line will be handled by two engine options a 1.0L turbo petrol with 7-speed DCT and 1.5L diesel with a 6-speed automatic torque converter. However the manual and iMT options will not be available in the X Line editions. Sonet X Line is expected to be ₹10,000 to ₹15,000 more expected than the GTX Plus trim. Once launched it will compete with the B segment SUVs especially, Nexon Dark edition and Venue N Line.
