Some more KTM RC 390 Images —-

As we’ve already mentioned several times so far, in essence, the upcoming KTM RC 390 is a 390 Duke derivative that boasts of a full front fairing and more track oriented ergonomics. From what is being said in the industry, the KTM RC 390 for India would have a max power of 43 Bhp and this means that the upcoming bike could enjoy segment leading power to weight ratio.

On being compared to the already available 390 Duke, the RC variant is likely to come with a stiffer suspension that will aid handling and enable the bike to have slightly better track manners than the donor model. Thanks to local manufacturing and high amount of parts sharing with the KTM 390 Duke naked street, the RC 390 would come to us with a competitive price tag. It is highly likely that the KTM RC 390 price in India will be pegged around the INR 2.20 lakhs mark.

Stay tuned to Motoroids for regular updates on the highly anticipated KTM RC 390 motorcycle.

  1. I was lucky enough to see the KTM RC 390, without the camouflage!
I could say it was the 390RC because it was in white and orange, unlike the 200RC which will come in black and orange.
From the observations i made, it actually sounded a bit different. The rider cruised from about 10kmph to 60kmph and the distinct Duke 390 grunt was highly suppressed. I’m confident it is the same single cylinder engine but the exhaust note sounded much smoother. I believe this hints to other things, such as a different exhaust design? altered ECU?
I hope it turns out to be a better performing machine with a higher top speed and hopefully better acceleration. Hope it sounds good too. The headlights could sure use a bit of styling. Going minimalistic all over the bike doesn’t seem like a very good idea. A bit of styling never hurt anyone 🙂
