Hyundai Creta Receives Minor Updates

Hyundai India has silently given their most popular product in the country, the Creta compact SUV, a few minor updates. A move which has been taken ahead of the Renault Captur’s launch on November 6, the Creta receives a new paintjob option and updates to the interior.

Design wise, the Creta receives a new dual tone colour option featuring the Earth Brown paintjob with a contrasting black roof. This dual tone option replaces the Red Passion paintjob with the contrasting black roof that has now been discontinued. A few reports suggested that the company has discontinued the beige paintjob offered on the Creta but a few dealerships Motoroids spoke to could not confirm the same.

Mechanically, the Hyundai Creta remains unchanged and is offered with three engine options: a 1.6-litre petrol engine, 1.4-litre diesel engine and a 1.6-litre diesel engine. Transmission duties are handled by a six speed manual transmission as standard while a six speed automatic transmission is available as an option.
