First Product From Bajaj-Triumph Partnership May Hit The Market In 2020

The new Bajaj-Triumph partnership will deliver an all-new motorcycle which will leverage individual strengths of the two manufacturers. Bajaj will help Triumph with its network, reach and accessible positioning, helping it expand its market, it will benefit from the UK based bike maker’s strong brand and expertise in high-end motorcycles.

Paul Stroud, Chief Commercial Officer at Triumph earlier confirmed that the first product from the Bajaj-Triumph partnership will be a mid-capacity model to which Ravikumar, President of Business Development at Bajaj added that the new motorcycles will combine the iconic heritage of Triumph with the back end efficiencies of Bajaj.


Now, a new report by Economic Times suggest that the first product from the partnership may hit the market in 2020 while stating that ‘a concept of the joint project has almost been firmed up’. Moreover, speaking to ET Auto, Stroud said that Triumph will focus on the above 500cc segment, and the partnership with Bajaj will focus on the mid-sized 250cc to 700cc bikes.
