Bajaj launches the Pulsar 200 NS in Maharashtra. First 5 bikes handed over to their owners

The wait is over! Every Pulsar lover and Pulsar hater in this country has been waiting to lay his hands on the Pulsar 200 NS. While the former want to check out how good the new gen Pulsar is, the people in the latter catagory are waiting to point out the flaws in the new age Pulsar. Well, it’s time for the itch on the hands to cease. After a lot of speculations and rumors, our good friends have informed us about the price details of the new bike.

Regulars here might remember that we reported that Mr.Rajiv Bajaj had commented that the bike will be priced below INR 1 lahk. Well, he kept his words and the result is as we expected it to be. The first batch of Pulsar 200NS today hits the road. The bike has been launched with a price tag of Rs. 84,096/- ex showroom pune. Keys were handed out to the first 5 customers. It may be noted that this pricing is NOT introductory and will remain constant for atleast sometime to come. It may be noted that like we had reported earlier, the production version of the 200 NS comes with a 55 watt headlight as compared to the 35W as we had seen on the test mules and prototype. Other than this, the there have been made changes with the number plate position and the bike gets a new tyre hugger. The bike is only available at Pune, Mumbai, Nashik, Nagpur and Solapur currently and Bajaj will launch the bike at other parts of the country in a step wise manner.
