Audi Concludes The Indian Leg Of The Quattro Golf Cup Finals

Today, German car manufacturer, Audi, concluded the Indian leg of the world’s largest amateur golf tournament series, the 2019 Audi Quattro Cup. This major event was held at the Prestige Golfshire Club in Bengaluru, India. More than 750 golfers participated to secure a slot for the India finals of the Audi Quattro Cup 2019. The Ahmedabad team, represented by Dr Kaushal Anand and Sumit Pant grabbed the first position by amassing 47 points against the other finalists.

Over the years, the Audi Quattro Cup has surely emerged as one of the best corporate golf events and is being celebrated nation-wide with golfers all over India taking part in this exciting series. The teams that finished after Team Ahmedabad are Team Bhubaneswar and Team Mumbai. The Bhubaneshwar team included two players, Satyajit Mishra and JB Pany who bagged the runners-up spot after collecting 36 points, while the Mumbai team consisting of Satish Gupta and Aditya Patel grabbed the third spot with 34 points.

The Golf Cup Finals were played on the unique ‘Greensome Stableford’ format where both players drive the ball, select the best out of two and alternate before holing out. The winning team from today’s finals, Team Ahmedabad, has qualified for the World Finals which will be held in Kitzbühel, Austria, later this year. Some of the past winners of the Quattro Cup India have performed really well at this venue in the last few years.
