The Grand Tour

27 cars destroyed and over 1.4 billion miles travelled : The Grand Tour is less than two weeks away

One of the most awaited television series for motor heads, The Grand Tour, is less than two weeks away from its premier and we are already excited to see the former Top Gear trio, the new Grand Tour trio entertain us with their antics. Scheduled to release on November 18, 2016, The Grand Tour will be aired weekly, every Friday, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. While we wait for that, a new teaser of the motor show has been released which reveals some interesting numbers. According to the new data, the filming of the first season saw 27 cars get destroyed, 14,951 cups of coffee being consumed, and 1,474,546,320 miles (according to Clarkson) being driven.

Check out the trailer below:

The first teaser which was released in October 2016 revealed that the show will be crammed with exotics like the Alfa Romeo 4C, the Dodge Challenger Hellcat, the Aston Martin Vulcan, the LaFerrari, the McLaren P1 and the Porsche 918 Spyder. The Grand Tour will also cash in on the spirit of travelling and adventure, something that we have seen during the good ol’ Top Gear days. So with a collage of footage, accompanied by a fancy audio and interesting numbers, the 16 second long video makes the wait more difficult.
