Another capable Italian machine has been added to MV Agusta’s RC line-up that is here with a mission to redefine the idea of a touring motorcycle. Presenting the 2017 MV Agusta Turismo Veloce RC! This adventure tourer focuses on compact volumes, bears minimal weight wrapped in a newly designed frame. Only 250 units of the Turismo Veloce RC will be created and will retail for a price of £ 17,480.
On the visual front, the 2017 Turismo Veloce RC gets the ‘RC’-specific racing livery alike the other models of the line-up. Powering the 2017 Turismo Veloce RC is a three pot, 4 stroke 12 valve DOHC unit that is equipped with MVICS 2.0 (Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System). The 798cc petrol engine is capable of making a power of 110 horses at 10,150 rpm and a peak torque of 80Nm at 7,100 rpm. The power is sent to the rear wheel by a 6-speed manual gearbox. The bike also benefits from a electronic quick shift feature. The engine is Euro 4 compliant and can propel the bike to a top speed of 230 kmph.
As stated by the makers, the starter motor and the associated gears of the bike have been revised and improved for enhanced reliability and durability, critical to a model that was created to cover tens of thousands of kilometers per year.
