2016 Ford Endeavour prices increased by INR 50,000 for the top-end varaints

Earlier this week, Ford India had slashed prices of its Figo range by up to INR 91,000. The rejig in the Blue Oval’s Indian pricing structure has now affected its big boy – the Endeavour, which now sees a price hike of INR 50,000 for the range-topping 2.2L Titanium 4X2 AT & 3.2L Titanium AWD AT variants. Prices for the rest of the model lineup remains unchanged.

The Endeavour is available with two diesel engines from Ford’s Duratorq engine family, mated to either a six-speed automatic or a manual transmission. The first offering is the 3.2-litre Duratorq five-cylinder TDCi diesel engine with 200 PS of power and 470 Nm of torque delivering a claimed fuel efficiency of 10.91 km/pl. The second offering is the 2.2-litre Duratorq four-cylinder TDCi diesel engine, putting out 160 PS of power and 385 Nm of torque. This engine is paired to both a six-speed manual and an automatic transmission.

Top-end Titanium grades of the 2016 Ford Endeavour come loaded with HID headlamps, LED daytime running lights, LED taillamps, heated side mirrors, electronic panoramic sunroof, 8-way power-adjustable driver seat, cruise control, leather upholstery, parking sensors (front), 8-inch SYNC infotainment system, 10-speaker sound system, seven airbags, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Launch Assist (HLA) and Hill Descent Control (HDC).
