Classic Legends, which is a subsidiary of the Mahindra group resurrected Jawa back in 2018 after which we saw Jawa launch 3 motorcycles in India. Recently BSA which is also one of the companies under Classic Legends, launched Goldstar in the UK. And now, it’s the turn for Yezdi to take the spotlight.

Yezdi posted a 14-second teaser on Instagram which shows a bike in Matrix theme giving us the nod to a new Matrix Resurrections movie.

What can we expect?
The teaser shows us a cruiser motorcycle which will be a rival to Royal Enfield Meteor 350. Earlier this year, the company got the name Yezdi Roadking trademarked in India, and it only suggests that the bike is pacing towards the market.
The cruiser is expected to feature relaxed footpegs positioning, upright handlebar, a slim fuel tank, circular headlamp and LED tail lamp, wide seat, semi-digital instrumentation telescopic front forks, twin-sided rear shock absorbers, and so on. We can expect both single- and dual-channel ABS to be offered.
As many as 3 motorcycles in the pipeline!
With the recent teaser posted we can expect 3 motorcycles to be launched under the Yezdi brand. Earlier we spotted an ADV style bike and a scrambler testing on the road.
Talking about the ADV bike that can be seen in the spy video seems to have the RE Himalayan in its crosshair. It features an upright riding position and runs on spoked wheels, a fatter rear tire with block-pattern treads, and a single, round headlight, just like the Himalayan. Enhancing its touring ability is a standard windscreen. Just like the RE Himalayan, the Yezdi ADV also sports accessories and luggage mounting points next to the fuel tank.
While the Scrambler we spotted follows the same design philosophy as the other Scramblers. The front end comprises a round headlight, a typical retro Scrambler, we must say! The handlebar looks tall and there are fork gaiters in place as well.

As of right now, we have no information regarding the engine but we speculate the cruiser bike shown in the teaser could have a 334cc motor that powers Jawa Perak. This unit makes 30.64 ps / 32.74 Nm and is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox.
