Last year, Shell India had introduced ‘Shell Helix lifetime engine warranty program’ with a promise to protect your car’s engine for life. The maker stated that the latest engine oil offering is the first and only engine oil to offer a Free Lifetime Engine Warranty* in India. Since the launch of the product, Shell India is going full throttle to reach out to the masses and sharing ideas, tip and tricks that can be implemented in order to protect one’s car.

The company has been working on their interactive drives through social media. Now, it is your turn to share tip and tricks as Shell India is back with their #Promise2Protect contest. In this contest, you can share your ideas and win Amazon gift vouchers of up to INR 1,500 or a treat of Shell goodies.
Here is how you can participate in the contest and win all of that good stuff:
Motoroids in association with Shell India will conduct two contests for the #Promise2Protect campaign. In these two different contests, the participants are expected to answer each question separately and share them through our social media portals. These contests will have 1 winner each.
Contest one:
How have you fulfilled your #Promise2Protect your car?
- Share tips and tricks that ensure your car’s good health.
Contest two:
What is the craziest act you’ve done to keep a promise?
- Share the lengths to which you have gone to keep a promise. Some crazy and whacky things you guys must have done in order to not break a promise.
Now that you guys have got the contest questions, read on carefully for instructions and rules.
How to Enter:
- Facebook
- Participants must like the contest post on Facebook.
- Participants must share their answer entry in the comment section of the contest post using #Motoroids and #Promise2Protect.
- Twitter
- Participant must re-tweet the contest post.
- Participants must tweet their answer entry using #Motoroids and #Promise2Protect.
Contest Duration:
- The duration of the contest is from 23th April to 10th May 2015.
- During the contest duration, there will be two contests and winners will be announced through a wall post at the end of every contest.
Eligibility:
- The Competition is open to India residents’ aged 18 or over on the Competition start date. Eligibility requirements include a valid residential address, contact number and e-mail id and Facebook/Twitter account
- Participation in this contest is purely voluntary.
- No purchase is necessary for participating in the Competition and it is open to all including the persons who have not purchased Shell products in the past.
- Shell shall not charge any amount for participation in the contest and the sole criteria for participation shall be submitting entries in the manner stipulated below.
- Employees of Shell & organizations related to the contest and their families are excluded from entering the Competition.
- Multiple Facebook comment entries and Tweets on the contest post per person during the Contest Period will be entertained.
To claim the prize:
- Winners need to submit all the details as per the requirements of Shell and within the stipulated timeframes.
- Winners will be notified by Facebook message/Tweet.
- The gratification will be couriered by Shell within a span of 7-10 working days from the date of receiving all details from the winners.
