In what seems to be a move to benefit from the increased car sales during this year’s festive season, Volkswagen India has come up with a new Corporate Edition accessory pack for its Vento C segment sedan. This accessory pack, which has been dubbed as the Corporate Edition, can be bought with any of the three trim levels (Trendline, Comfortline or Highline) on any of the engine options.
The Corporate Edition accessory pack brings in INR 40000 worth of accessories and can be added for no extra cost. This means that all the trim levels of the Vento would come with eight new features, which include-
- Alloy wheels
- Trunk spoiler
- Mud flaps
- Door protector
- Window chrome set
- Navigation system with rear view camera
- Seat covers
- Door step garnish
However, the Corporate Edition models miss out on the smoked headlamps, which made their debut with the facelift.
Mechanically, the car remains the same and can be bought with either a 1.6 litre petrol engine or a 1.6 litre oil burner. The petrol motor has a max power of 105 PS and a peak torque of 153 Nm. The diesel mill too has a max power of 105 PS but bestows the car with 250 Nm of torque. Both the engines come mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox, with the petrol getting an option of a 6-speed automatic.
We feel that the new Corporate Edition accessory pack brings in that ‘li’l extra’ to the already well equipped Vento and this is definitely a right time to head to a VW dealership if having a Vento parked in your driveway is what you’ve always fancied.
