Diwali fever is on! The festive season is less than a month away and every human associated with it is gearing up for a shopping spree while the brands out there are putting out attractive deals on the shelf. Volkswagen’s Volkfest has already started from 1 October 2016 and will stay in action till 31 October. Reportedly, joining the carnival by the last week of the month will be their Polo ALLSTAR special edition.
Volkswagen Polo Allstar edition spotted; coming soon
In April 2016, some units of the said Polo edition were spotted and we had brought its fresh spy pics for you. And now, Volkswagen India has revealed almost all the details of the Polo ALLSTAR special edition through images put up on their official website.
The Volkswagen Polo ALLSTAR special edition is likely to get only visuall upgrades with some additions to the feature set. The engine configuration, that it will be rolled out with in the Indian market, will be the same as the standard Polo model. In some international markets the Polo ALLSTAR draws power from a 1.0L TSI petrol engine strapped with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The ALLSTAR model spotted in India had a Diesel badge suggesting the familiar 1.5-litre diesel engine housed under its hood.
On the visual front, the special edition gets new 15″ diamond cut light alloy wheels giving it a sporty stance. The ‘ALLSTAR’ badge is slapped on the B-pillar and the side sill plates. On the inside, the dashboard gets a dark theme unlike the dual tone treatment on the standard Polo model.
The seats receive the new ALLSTAR curing and in between the front seats a new retractable armrest has been fitted. This armrest also offers storage space. Other features include – Climatronic automatic climate control system with a rear AC vent, rain sensing wipers, automatic headlamps, and metal inserts on the foot pedals.
No official details of the Volkswagen Polo ALLSTAR special edition are out as of yet but we expect them soon. Talking about the prices, we can only say that it will be priced a bit higher than the standard Polo. The ALLSTAR edition will not only provide the customers with a new deal but also pump up the sales of the Polo.
