KTM Duke 200 vs Bajaj Pulsar CS 400

The KTM Duke 200 is a quick motorcycle by any standards. With close to 25 bhp from its buzzing 200-cc engine hustling a mere 136 kg (kerb; without rider), the Duke 200 is no slouch. However, it’s no match for the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar CS 400, as a Duke 200 rider found out while following a test mule of the same on the Pune-Mumbai highway (NH-4). Watch the short clip below, as the fastest and most powerful Pulsar ever made pull effortlessly away as the KTM starts to tail it.

Now, to all of you who are about to start destroying your keyboards with hostile comments stating that it isn’t a fair comparison, we all know it isn’t, as the CS 400’s alleged 375 cc engine will be good for at least 35 bhp, if not more. However, the video does give some perspective of the CS 400’s performance – it won’t be pedestrian. Bajaj’s flagship model is due soon, and the NH-4 seems to be its favourite hunting ground, as a Yamaha R15 rider also filmed his chase with a test mule on the same highway earlier this month. 1. This is risky overtake as he is driving too close to the wheels of the truck.
Whenever you overtake try to keep in the middle of the lane nor towards the right like in this case closer to the wheels of a heavy rig.
