The folks in Indonesia get a special surprise this Eid al-Fitr as Datsun has introduced two limited, special edition versions of the Datsun Go and Go+. Tagged as the Go Panca (hatchback) and Go+ Panca (MPV), the special edition models will be limited to 500 units each and will get some premium features on the exterior and interior.
On the inside, the Go+ Panca Special Edition features special single-DIN unit with a rear view camera display and beige leather seat. Visually, the special edition MPV also gets front and rear bumper extensions along with new side skirts. The Go Panca, on the other hand, features a carbon roof spoiler and a stylish exhaust finisher. The Go Panca does not get any updates on the insides.
There are no mechanical upgrades to the vehicle and both the models continue to use the stock engine tune. Both the vehicles draw power from a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine that delivers 68 bhp of power and 104 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The Go+ Panca MPV is priced at Rp 126 million which roughly translates to INR 6.42 lakh while the Go Panca hatchback is priced at Rp 113.4 million which goes to approximately INR 5.77 lakh. The limited edition models would be available only in Indonesia. We speculate to see something like this India around Diwali.
