A Taiwanese flight, named ATR-72 turboprop aircraft with 58 people onboard, crashed into a river on Wednesday, February 04, 2015, shortly after takeoff from Taipei. The TransAsia flight aircraft was flying from Taipei to the offshore island of Kinmen when it crashed into the Keelung River. Reports claim that 12 people have lost their lives. The rescue operation is still under progress. Here is the video footage of the horrifying incident from the dashboard camera.

As you can see in the video, the left wing of the plane scraped through a vehicle and Taiwan’s busy National Freeway No. 1 before crashing into the river. The rescue operation is in progress as a team of 165 people and eight boats search for survivors. This not the first time that the TransAsia flight has suffered a crash. In July 2014, 48 people from all the 54 onboard were killed in a crash amid stormy weather.
