Italian exotic maker Ferrari has been known to produce some of the fastest, best handling and jaw dropping models since the time of its inception back in the year 1939. These supercars are powered by some of the finest engines that can make the vehicle sprint from naught to ton in the blink of an eye. For some mortals, though, even a Ferrari isn’t good enough, so they reach out to tuners (performance modifiers) to please their hunger for more. Novitec Group is one such tuning company that specializes in modifications for Ferrari, Lamborghini and Rolls Royce. The model to go under the scalpel in this instance was the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. The blokes at Novitec have given the grand tourer an aesthetic update as well as a performance upgrade.
Christened as the Novitec Rosso N-Largo S for the F12 Berlinetta, the model receives a wide body kit designed in collaboration with German designer Vittorio Strosek. The wide-body kit, made of lightweight, high strength carbon components, even went through tests in a wind tunnel. Upfront, the F12 Berlinetta receives a bumper which gains 7 cm in width as compared to the stock unit. Also on offer is a custom developed bumper that comes with a central front blade with a carbon fibre finish as an option.
Moving upwards, once can notice the air outlet on the hood with a carbon fibre cover that directs the wind over the roof. Also seen are the naked carbon air deflectors for the air intakes on either sides of the windshield. The ORVM’s receive carbon caps while the rocker panels are offered in a matte or high glass coating.
The posterior receives a set of fender flares, which when moulded into the body increase the width by 14 cm. The grand tourer also gets 3 gill shaped vents on either side of the rear bumper. Also added are a roof spoiler lip and a carbon rear airfoil. The tail lamps receive a black tint. The 21 inch and 22 inch alloy wheels up front and at the rear respectively are wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tyres.

The aforementioned wheels are supported by a revised suspension setup with Novitec Rosso sport rings that helps lower the height of the vehicle by approximately 40 mm. On offer is a lift system for the front axle that, along with the hydraulic height adjustment will elevate the front end by about 40 mm with the help of a button situated inside. This suspension, after attaining speeds of 80 km/ph will regress to its standard position.
Tweaks to the engine include a boost in power to the tune of 51 hp over stock, taking the total to a crazy 781 hp of power that arrives at 8600 rpm. The torque also stands to benefit by 32 Nm and stands at a crazy 722 Nm. This enables the Novitec Rosso N-Largo S F12 Berlinetta to sprint a fraction of a second faster from naught to 100 km/h while 0-200 km/h is claimed at 5 seconds, 3.5 seconds faster than before. The top speed rises by a marginal amount of 10 km/h taking the new top speed to 350 km/h.
Coming to the interiors, the features include paddle shifters that are redesigned and now come in a carbon finish. Also on offer is a refreshed cockpit that can come in leather, Alcantara and carbon.
