VIDEO : 2018 Porsche 911 GT3 RS Seen Lapping the Nurburgring, Nordschleife

The 2018 Porsche 911 GT3 RS was seen lapping the Nurburgring circuit and the rear-engined car filled the Green Hell with an eargasmic sound from its flat six. The upcoming car was caught on camera, flying through circuit and you can check it out in the video below:

While there is no concrete report on the mechanical details, rumors suggest that the 2018 GT3 will get a new 4.0-litre engine which will be based on the unit on the GT3 Cup racecar while the RS tagged model is expected to receive a 4.2-litre motor. Moreover, Porsche’s GT division Head Andreas Preuninger had earlier suggested that the six-speed manual gearbox of the GT3 will not be seen on the RS model. The current generation Porsche 911 GT3 RS, which arrived in India in August 2016, uses a 4.0-litre six-cylinder engine with 500 hp and 480 Newton metres of torque.

We’d keep you posted about more updates on the upcoming model. Till then, let us know your views about the 2018 GT3 RS through the comments section below.
