Maruti Suzuki Swift International Spec Variant with DRL
As the launch date of the new Maruti Suzuki Swift facelift nears, more and more scoops surface the internet revealing many details of this upcoming hatchback. This latest video captures the 2014 model inside out revealing maximum details till date. Automotive website GaadiWaadi.com has posted a YouTube video which shows many of the exterior and interior updates that the facelift Swift will receive. As we reported earlier, dealers have started accepting the bookings of the 2014 Swift at Rs 10,000.
The car captured in the video is the top of the line diesel variant (ZDi ABS). What we can see in the video is that unlike the international version, the Indian version of the 2014 Swift will miss out on daytime running LED lights. The India specific 2014 Swift will feature an automatic headlamps,new front bumper, newly designed alloy wheels and reverse-parking sensors on the top-spec variant. On the inside, the new Swift receives addition of keyless entry, push-button start, electrically retractable & adjustable ORVM’s and a one-touch operation power-window for the driver.
The new Swift will continue to be powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.3-litre-diesel engines that are found on the previous generation Swift. The K-series petrol unit makes 86 hp of power and 114 Nm of torque, while the diesel unit produces 75 hp of power and 190 Nm of torque. The ARAI fuel efficiency, as spotted on leaked brochures, stands at 20.4 kmpl for petrol and 25.2 kmpl for diesel.

The Lxi/Ldi trims should be pretty bare, with just air-conditioning and power steering.
The Vxi/Vdi trims add:
- New Dashboard Integrated music system with Speed Sensing Auto-Sound
- Electrical Retractable & Adjustable ORVM’s
- New Wheel Caps
- Anti-lock braking System
Vxi/Vdi variants to come with ABS as standard
The Zxi/Zdi trims add:
- Push start button
- I-key entry
- Cruise Control
- New 12 spoke alloy wheels
- Reverse parking sensors
- Automatic Climate Control
- Steering mounted audio controls
The ex-showroom prices (unconfirmed) of the new Swift have also been leaked:
- Lxi – 442,000 INR
- Lxi (O) – 449,000 INR
- Vxi – 508,000 INR
- Zxi – 590,000 INR
- Ldi – 556,000 INR
- Vdi – 599,990 INR
- Zdi – 695,000 INR
