The new 2015 Maruti Suzuki Swift is almost upon us, with bookings having already opened for the sum of Rs.10,000. Apart from the really mild exterior updates and a few new features inside, the new Swift will continue to be powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.3-litre-diesel engines that are found on the previous generation Swift. The K-series petrol unit makes 86 hp of power and 114 Nm of torque, while the diesel unit produces 75 hp of power and 190 Nm of torque.
However, what’s interesting is the fact that fuel efficiency figures have risen! From this leaked brochure, the new Swift’s ARAI certified mileage figures have been improved to 25.2 kmpl for the diesel variant from 22.9 kmpl and 20.4 kmpl for the petrol variant from 18.6 kmpl- with Maruti working their magic on the drive-trains.
Regarding the new features and pricing, the Lxi/Ldi trims should be pretty bare, with just air-conditioning and power steering.

Cruise control??? Are you sure.. I dont think it will bw made available in swift..
